Amit Sadh is set to become the host for India's one and only paranormal reality show, Dark Scroll.; Details Inside

MTV Dark Scroll – Muqabla Anjaan Se, India's only paranormal reality show, promises spine-tingling thrills! In the new adrenaline-pumping show hosted by actor Amit Sadh, 9 seekers will explore 7 haunted locations in Uttarakhand. Famous paranormal expert Sarbajeet Mohanty and psychic Pooja Vijay will lead them. MTV Dark Scroll, in association with The Souled Store, premieres on August 16 and airs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7 pm on JioCinema and 10 pm on MTV.

Amit, Sarbajeet, and Pooja will lead the Seekers through Uttarakhand's misty mountains and dense forests to investigate chilling stories and face otherworldly challenges. In each haunted location, seekers will use Infrared Cameras, Electromagnetic Field Measures, and Paranormal Investigation methods like the Estes Method to complete a series of activities. As the show progresses, they will try to finish their investigations without being scared.

At launch, host Amit Sadh said, “This project is a groundbreaking experience for me. MTV Dark Scroll – Muqabla Anjaan Se will revolutionise Indian reality TV. Every assumption will be tested by the show. I'm excited for MTV and JioCinema viewers to discover this experience.”

PAIRS (Parapsychology and Investigations Research Society) founder Sarbajeet Mohanty has years of paranormal experience, ensuring each encounter is researched. He said, “The show is a first, and I am happy to be associated with it. I enjoyed developing the idea with makers on the pitch. The methods and devices used will improve paranormal understanding. I urge audiences to be open-minded and learn more like our Seekers.”

Pooja Vijay, co-founder of PAIRS, uses her psychic abilities to sense and communicate with spectral entities in haunted places. She said, “With ‘MTV Dark Scroll – Muqabla Anjaan Se’, I am excited to introduce believers and non-believers to the paranormal world. Many pop culture misconceptions exist about entities and their world. I think viewers will learn more about paranormal presences from the show's investigations and the Seekers' journey."

MTV Dark Scroll will give viewers and fans immersive user-interactive experiences like never before with JioCinema's cutting-edge multi-dimensional entertainment. MTV Dark Scroll, JioCinema's first immersive 360 gaming experience, will let viewers unlock haunted locations as the show progresses, making the viewing experience interactive and engaging. MTV Dark Scroll also uses thermal imaging to switch between standard and thermal feeds at key moments. This lets you study temperature changes and spot paranormals alongside contestants. To add to the interactivity, JioCinema users can enter the “Spooky Stories in 60 Seconds” contest to win prizes and have their stories featured!
