What Is 'CTRL' All About?

Ananya Panday portrays the character of Nella Awasthi in the series 'CTRL', while Vihaan Samat takes on the role of her boyfriend, Joe Mascarenhas. They have a great time creating content together and have a strong following on social media. Then there comes an unexpected twist after they break up. Based on the teaser, it appears that the film will explore the impact of technology, the internet, and social media on our lives and how reliant we have become on them.

Ananya Panday, who recently appeared in a cameo role in 'Bad Newz', is thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Vikramaditya Motwane and Nikhil Dwivedi. According to a report on Outlook, she expressed that CTRL is an engaging and impactful experience that prompts you to question your sense of control over your life. She genuinely believes that this film appeals to a wide range of people, considering the rapid progress in technology and our increasing reliance on it. She further said that Netflix is the perfect platform to captivate the audience with a narrative as gripping as CTRL.

According to the very same Outlook article, Vikramaditya Motwane discussed the main objective of his latest directorial venture. He mentioned that in today's world, we spend so much time on our devices that screen time has essentially become screen life! He further raised the question that are we truly the masters of our digital existence, or are we mere puppets in a larger scheme? That's the answer CTRL aims to uncover. He concluded by saying something on the lines of for a concept as modern as this, the team required a cast who embodies such a lifestyle, along with a platform like Netflix that remains current.
