It seems like Wolfs, the latest film from Jon Watts, the brilliant mind behind Spider-Man: No Way Home, is already making waves in the industry. According to a report on Comicbook.com, a sequel is already in the works, even though there are plans to reduce the original's theatrical release.

The film, featuring the dynamic duo of George Clooney and Brad Pitt, will enjoy a brief run in theatres before making its way to Apple TV+ in late September. But apparently, Apple is so happy with it already that they have already greenlit a second installment. The action-comedy brings together the Ocean's Eleven co-stars once again, as they find themselves reluctantly teaming up for a massive criminal mission.

Wolfs Trailer:

The highly anticipated film Wolfs is set to make its debut at the prestigious Venice Film Festival in just a few weeks' time. In just a few short weeks, on September 20th, prepare for a delightful treat as it graces the silver screen for a limited time. But fear not, for on September 27th, it will make its grand debut on Apple TV+, ready to be enjoyed by all.

"Wolfs' is the kind of big event movie that makes Apple TV+ such an exceptional home for the best in entertainment," said Apple Original Films' head of features Matt Dentler in a statement (via Variety). "With George and Brad's remarkable and engaging chemistry under Jon Watts' extraordinary direction, 'Wolfs' blends all the great elements of comedy, action, and drama into a hugely entertaining movie that will leave audiences ready for what's next. Releasing the movie to theaters before making it widely available to Apple TV+ customers brings the best of both worlds to audiences, and we're excited to see fans embrace the movie as we start working with Jon on the sequel."

In addition to the Ocean's Eleven trilogy, Pitt and Clooney have shared the screen in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Burn After Reading, and the more recent John Krasinski comedy If. It's quite a refreshing change to see them take on co-lead roles instead of blending into the ensemble.
