Avatar Veteran Joel David Moore Confirms That Future Sequels Are In Production

With each passing day, we are coming closer and closer to returning to the fantastical world of Pandora. Very recently, Avatar alum Joel David Moore posted new photographs from the New Zealand set of the film on Instagram, recalling his time on the franchise. Moore played Norm Spellman in Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water. Moore's production update is likely for Avatar 4, which has began filming and was scheduled to resume early this year after the 2023 Hollywood strikes.

Avatar 3 will continue The Way of Water and feature a volcano-dwelling Na'vi clan called "Ash People." The Way of Water cast implied during a conversation with renowned entertainment daily ComicBook late last year that Avatar 3 will be a very exciting affair.

Avatar was announced to have five sequels, and filmmaker James Cameron has said he shot a lot of footage for Avatar 4 already. That sequel's plot is unknown, although it may exceed expectations, if whatever we have heard so far online is to go by.
