SDCC 2024: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Is Now Avengers: Doomsday; Russo Brothers To Return For The Next Two Avengers Movies

"Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" has undergone a complete name change, taking a wild turn. And guess what? The Russo Brothers are back at it again, and they will be directing the next two Avengers films!

The dynamic duo of directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, are teaming up with Marvel Studios once more to take the helm of the next two epic superhero team-up films. These talented filmmakers, known for their work on four MCU films, including the record-breaking 'Avengers: Endgame', are ready to bring their magic to the big screen once again. On Saturday evening, they made their grand entrance at San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H, and the crowd went wild with applause!

However, in order to properly do justice to "Secret Wars," the story would require a certain instrumental character to build up towards the epic battle. Introducing Dr. Victor von Doom, portrayed by none other than Robert Downey Jr., the genius behind Iron Man/Tony Stark who skyrocketed the MCU to fame.

The first film, "Avengers: Doomsday," is set to hit theatres in May 2026. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, "Avengers: Secret Wars" will be gracing the big screen in May 2027. Mark your calendars, folks!
