One of the most anticipated documentaries of the year, Daughters, will make its Netflix debut on August 14. In the meantime, the film's first trailer is here.

The feature film, which was co-directed by Natalie Rae and Angela Patton, follows a group of inmate fathers and their daughters as they participate in a dance together behind prison walls in Washington, DC. The film explores the emotional bonding and shared experience of these inmates. Out of all the films shown at Sundance, both fiction and nonfiction, this film was selected by festivalgoers for the Festival Favourite and the Audience Award for U.S. Documentary categories.
