During an interview with Us Weekly, Karan Soni, who plays the ever-so-lovable Dopinder in the upcoming film Deadpool and Wolverine, has stated that this "fresh" film (Referring to D&W) is necessary for the MCU to maintain its momentum. In order to discuss the summer smash, the aforementioned daily spoke with the beloved Dopinder actor. Even though Soni could tell them "absolutely nothing" about the bigger plot of Deadpool and Wolverine, he was sure that Marvel fans will be excited to leave this one. The actor, who is best known for playing fan-favourite Dopinder in the film franchise, also mentioned that Hugh Jackman wasn't originally in the script, which caused some major revisions post him signing on the dotted lines.

Soni, who most recently provided the voice for Spider-Man India in Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse, a Sony Entertainment production, stated while speaking with the aforementioned daily that "It's a long time coming, but it was one of those things — where because it was such a long time — it's gotten really good. The script was really good. It was in a very good place… There was a version of [the script] before Hugh Jackman said yes," Soni shared. "Because they waited because he said yes — I think it's all the things combining and I think it's coming at the right time for the MCU, which is in need of something fresh. And I would not bet against Ryan."

Deadpool and Wolverine had been requested by fans to appear in a joint film for quite some time. Shawn Levy has made their day come. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's reunion has long been a goal of the director. He first brought up the idea during the press tour for The Adam Project. Around that time, renowned entertainment daily ComicBook.com was one of the first publications to question him whether we would wind up in this situation. In response, the director said "I'm not going to say where or how, but I absolutely will confirm my intention and determination to be the lucky son of a b*tch who puts those two magnificent gods in the same movie together," Levy told ComicBook.com. He ended his answer by saying "That will happen, and that will be me."

Now we're here, at last, because Deadpool and Wolverine will be hitting theatres for its big debut in less than a month. You will find the trailer down below, just in case you missed it:
