When the cast of Shawn Levy's Deadpool & Wolverine saw Hugh Jackman, who is playing Wolverine in his tenth film, don the iconic, brightly coloured suit from the X-Men comics and animated series, executive producer Wendy Jacobson told HeyUGuys that they knew they had made something truly special.

For Jacobson, "it was one of the craziest things"... "It was the camera test. It was before we started shooting. To see both of those guys, first of all, in costume together was just mind-blowing, but Hugh walking out in the yellow and blue, I mean, there were grown men, like, sobbing on set. So we knew it was a special, very special thing.". That clip can be found below:

While Jackman has traditionally portrayed Wolverine in darker, grittier, more realistic tones, it appears that the X-Man will get a splash of colour from Deadpool's trademark silliness.

Officially introducing both characters to the MCU, Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynold as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. It's the sole Marvel Cinematic Universe feature going into 2024. Lady Deadpool, Sabertooth, Juggernaut, and countless more characters will also be featured in the film.
