Despicable Me 4's Weekend Box Office Projections Are Here

Despicable Me 4 has finally made it to the silver screens after the last instalment left us yearning for more a little over a whopping seven years ago. And now, finally, it is evident that the fans are welcoming the newest addition to the franchise with open arms this 4th of July weekend.

As per a report on ComicBook.com, After a stellar domestic $27 million opening day debut, the fourth on-screen adventure of Gru and his Minions is sitting at a respectable $99 million dollars after collecting $72 million after its silver screen debut at the ticket counters. And now, trade analysts are predicting a $120 million opening weekend number for Illumination Studio's latest animated feature presentation.

Initially, it was believed that the film's total opening weekend figure won't even be close to the numbers they are predicting right now, however, the very same ComicBook.com report says that this figure is very much within the realm of possibility, thanks to the evening crowd being more robust than they were expected to be.
