Dhurandar: Ranveer Singh Will Begin Filming For Aditya Dhar's Next Sooner Than You Think: Report

Dhurandhar, an espionage thriller, is Aditya Dhar's next high-octane project. Dhar isn't wasting time while his mythological project, The Immortal Ashwatthama, is on hold. Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal for the first time.

Pinkvilla reports that the action-packed thriller takes place in Indian intelligence agencies. Shooting begins July 25, 2024! Filming will begin in Thailand, a key intelligence network hub.

A source told the daily that “It's a film set during the golden era of Indian Intelligence Agencies, coinciding with the rise of R&AW. The team unites for the international leg, followed by schedules in India and UAE.” The screenplay is reportedly inspired by true events from the chronicles of R&AW.

The source added that “Ranveer is thrilled to be venturing into the world of espionage with Aditya Dhar. Sanjay Dutt portrays the antagonist, while Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal will be seen representing the Indian intelligence apparatus,”

As per a report on BollywoodHungama, Aditya and Lokesh Dhar will produce Dhurandhar under B62 Studios, according to the report. Apparently, they'll also work with a major studio.
