Diljit Dosanjh Plays To A Sold Out Stadium In Toronto And Gets A Surprise Visit From Canadian PM Justin Trudeau

Over the weekend, Punjabi singing sensation Diljit Dosanjh played to a sold-out crowd at Toronto's Rogers Centre in Canada. When he became the first Punjabi artist to sell out the venue, he made history once again. Using Instagram Stories, Diljit shared clips of himself performing popular songs like "Born To Shine" to the enthusiastic applause of an enormous audience.

In another video he posted to his feed, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid him an unexpected visit. Justin, decked out in a white tee and brown trousers, crossed paths with Diljit prior to the performance. As they embraced, Diljit, who was dressed in a red turban and a yellow striped shirt, was overjoyed to meet the prime minister of Canada. The crew and team of Diljit also introduced themselves to Justin, who met them while they cheered the singer's signature line, "Punjabi aa gaye oye" (Punjabis are here). You can find the post below:

Along with the very same video, Justin posted a carousel of pictures featuring Diljit and his crew to his Instagram feed. In the caption, he wrote something on the lines of "Wishing @diljitdosanjh good luck before his show," he captioned the photo.
