With the release of yet another Marvel Studios blockbuster this weekend, the Marvel Cinematic Universe wastes no time in forging ahead. News has just arrived that filming has officially begun on The Fantastic Four, set to hit theatres exactly one year from today!

In a delightful gesture, Pedro Pascal, who plays Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in the film, took it upon himself to share a captivating photo of the entire cast of Marvel's First Family. The picture showcases Pedro alongside the talented Vanessa Kirby, the remarkable Ebon Ross-Bachrach, and the charismatic Joseph Quinn.

As per an article by the renowned entertainment daily Comicbookmovie.com, during a recent interview, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige dropped a little nugget of information. He casually mentioned that the upcoming film is set in a different time period. And just to add to the excitement, he also mentioned a piece of artwork featuring Johnny Storm soaring through the sky, proudly displaying the iconic 4 symbol. The image showcased a bustling urban landscape. Many astute individuals quickly pointed out that the cityscape depicted bore little resemblance to the familiar New York we know, or the New York of the 1960s in our reality. He concluded that statement by praising the fans for their "smart observations". Take a look at the post the Marvel Head honcho was talking about down below:

Matt Shakman, the talented director behind WandaVision, Game of Thrones, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is taking the helm of the highly anticipated upcoming feature. The screenplay is being crafted by a team of brilliant writers including Josh Friedman, Cameron Squires, Eric Pearson, and Peter Cameron. Kevin Feige is leading the production team, joined by Grant Curtis, Nick Pepin, and Jamie Christopher.

Aside from the main cast, the film will feature Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and a surprise actor lending their voice to H.E.R.B.I.E.
