"Fighter" Director Siddharth Anand Locks His Next Mega-Budget Flick; Set To Go On Floors In 2025

With a string of blockbuster films like Bang Bang, War, Pathaan, and Fighter under his belt, Siddharth Anand has left audiences eagerly awaiting his next cinematic masterpiece.

There was a lot of buzz surrounding Sid's next project, with people speculating whether it would be Tiger v/s Pathaan, Pathaan 2, or Fighter 2. Last week, the well-known entertainment daily Pinkvilla was the first to break the news that Siddharth Anand's next project will be a grand standalone action film for his home production Marflix.

And now, the publication has just received some juicy new details about his 9th directorial venture.

As per insiders at Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand is currently busy crafting an extravagant action extravaganza featuring two leading heroes. The film is set to commence production in 2025, aiming to leave audiences in awe.

the source said that “It’s a new genre of action, and the execution for spectacle will surprise the cinema-going audience. Much like all his directorial, this one too will be a tentpole actioner, meant to celebrate the big screen medium as a collective cinema-going experience. It’s the newness of the genre that took him time to research and complete the script,”

While the rest of the details remain a mystery, Pinkvilla has confirmed that the casting for this upcoming film is currently in progress, with some major players expected to come together. In addition to Sid's directorial endeavours, he and his wife Mamta Anand have curated a collection of 7 films for their production company, Marflix. These films are currently in different stages of production.

Marflix has an exciting lineup of upcoming productions. Get ready for Jewel Thief, featuring the talented Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. And who can forget about King, starring the iconic Shah Rukh Khan, alongside the promising Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan as its antagonist? Hrithik Roshan will also be leading the charge in Krrish 4, bringing his trademark charm and action-packed performance. Milan Luthria is set to direct an untitled action drama for the production company that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. And let's not overlook the female-led action film and the gripping true events-inspired film based on the life of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar.
