Inside Out 2 Becomes The Highest Grossing Pixar Movie Of All Time

Inside Out 2's box office success gave Disney and Pixar a new core memory to cherish.

Inside Out 2 became Pixar's highest-grossing film on Wednesday after crossing $1 billion in global ticket sales after two weeks in general distribution.

The film added $17.4 million on Tuesday, bringing its worldwide total to little under $1.252 billion, surpassing 2018's Incredibles 2, which earned $1.243 billion (unadjusted for inflation) over its theatrical run.

Inside Out 2 is the year's highest-grossing film in North America with $543.5 million and $708 million internationally.

Inside Out 2 ranks fifth in all-time animated film earnings, behind the 2019 Lion King remake ($1.663 billion), Frozen II ($1.454 billion), The Super Mario Bros. Movie ($1.362 billion), and the original Frozen ($1.29 billion).
