James Gunn's Superman movie is inching closer to soaring through the skies.

Breaking news! Gunn just dropped a bomb on Instagram - production on Superman has officially wrapped! And get this, it's a whole eleven months before its July 2025 release date. Talk about efficiency!

Gunn delighted fans by sharing a photo from the film's Norway set, showcasing himself, Safran, Corenswet, and other members of the talented cast and crew.

A Brief Introduction to Superman

With David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Superman is set to make its grand debut in Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Universe.

According to DC Studios, Superman delves into the captivating tale of a superhero grappling with his extraterrestrial roots and his down-to-earth upbringing in Smallville, Kansas. He is a beacon of righteousness, fighting for a brighter future in a world that often dismisses compassion as outdated.

Superman has quite the star-studded cast, with Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica / The Engineer. Isabela Merced portrays the role of Kendra Saunders, also known as Hawkgirl. Nathan Fillion takes on the character of Guy Gardner, while Edi Gathegi brings Michael Holt, aka Mr. Terrific, to life. Anthony Carrigan embodies the role of Rex Mason, or Metamorpho. Beck Bennett portrays the character of Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover takes on the role of Cat Grant, and Christopher McDonald brings Ron Troupe to the screen.
