Joker: Folie À Deux features Joaquin Phoenix's singing, and Lady Gaga's first reaction to it is going to be a truly unforgettable one for him.

Joaquin Phoenix, who will be very soon seen again in the skin of Todd Phillips' iteration of the Clown Prince Of Crime, very recently reflected on his experience singing alongside Lady Gaga, who portrays Lee/Harley Quinn and is a professional Grammy-winning singer. Gaga also appears in director Todd Phillips' musical sequel to his 2019 smash hit.

While speaking to Empire magazine, Phoenix made a joke about how she remembered her audience member spitting up coffee during her first performance. She added that this experience boosted her confidence and felt good.

As per the report, together, he and the "Shallow" singer developed a melodic beat for their characters in the much-awaited picture.

“Gaga was always very encouraging of just, ‘Go with what you feel, it’s fine’,” Phoenix said. “For somebody who’s not a performer in that way, it can be… uncomfortable to do that, but also very exciting.”

After Phillips said that Arthur Fleck "has music in him," during the first instalment, the Beau Is Afraid actor elaborated on the role music plays in the character's development.

"Protecting that with poor phrasing and occasional bum notes was important," Phoenix added. When Arthur was a kid, his mum would listen to these songs on the radio. Don't expect him to sing like a professional because he isn't. The ideal scenario would be for him to sound like a person who suddenly starts singing while in the shower."
