Kalki 2898 AD: Nag Ashwin's SciFi Magnum Opus Posts A Humongous Total At The Box Office

After two days of release, Nag Ashwin's SciFi dystopian action adventurer, Kalki 2898 AD, has went on to collect a gigantic number at the worldwide box office. In only two days since its release, the Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer has brought in nearly 300 crores at the worldwide box office.

Announcing the same, the producers of the film have tweeted out the following:

Notably, other dailies have pointed out that the film saw a dip in its collections on its second day, but in our opinion, that is to be expected since Friday is a working day for many. Keep in mind that the film has got an extended weekend, and in such scenarios, or any scenario for that matter, the numbers posted on the following Saturday and Sunday are more important. Also in our opinion, the film has all the legs it needs to sit on All Time Blockbuster-level numbers by the end of its theatrical run since the reactions to the film have been nothing but stellar.
