Letitia Wright on Shuri's MCU Return: "There's a Lot Coming Up"

Letitia Wright, the star of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has expressed interest in returning for the third installment. The Shuri actress has not featured since the sequel a few years ago. When speaking with The View, Wright gently stated, "There's a lot coming up". Make of that what you will, as rumours of more than 60 Marvel characters making an appearance in Avengers 5 circulate on the Internet.

It must be noted that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the Multiverse Saga's second-highest grossing film, and it is only second to the monstrous hit that was Spider-Man: No Way Home. It would indeed make sense for Shuri to reappear as one cannot possibly imagine an elaborate superhero lineup that is rumoured to appear in Avengers 5 without a Black Panther variant. However, the actor who has taken on the baton of Wakanda's protector isn't quite ready to spill the beans on it just yet.

While going further, Wright added ""If it's, uh, let's just say, let's just say..."I would like to continue with Shuri. She's one of my favorite characters, such a blessing, honestly, I kid you not. I'm so grateful for her."

As things stand right now, not a lot is known about the upcoming threequel, and much lesser about the other projects where an appearance by Shuri as the new protector of Wakanda is expected. However, given that the sequel was a box office hit as well as a streaming success, it would only make sense for director Ryan Coogler to pick up the pen and paper to chart out the future trajectory of the superhero and her people.
