The trio portrays the titular siblings in the Netflix film, which made its debut at TIFF 2023.

Natasha Lyonne, Carrie Coon, and Elizabeth Olsen are returning to their indie roots in the heartfelt family drama "His Three Daughters." Coon portrays the responsible sister Katie, who finds herself entrusted with the important duty of fulfilling her father's end-of-life requests as he battles illness. Olsen plays her sister Christina, who finds solace in the spiritual realm to cope with the impending loss of their father. On the other hand, Lyonne's character Rachel chooses to cope by indulging in marijuana and disconnecting from reality.

The three estranged sisters reunite in a New York flat to care for their ailing father and attempt to repair their fractured relationship with each other, as described in the film's official synopsis.

Take a look at the trailer down below:

The film is written and directed by Azazel Jacobs. Jacobs has quite the repertoire under their belt, with notable works like "French Exit" and "The Lovers," and the series "Sorry for Your Loss," which also featured Olsen.

"His Three Daughters" is set to hit select theatres on Friday, September 6, and will be available for streaming on Netflix starting Friday, September 20.
