In Joker: Folie À Deux, Harley and Joker are like two halves of the same coin.

The recently-released full trailer for the sequel reveals that the film's events take place two years after Joker (2019), and it follows Joaquin Phoenix's notoriously riot-inciting crown prince of crime as he awaits trial. Prisoned at Arkham Asylum, the clown-painted folk hero of Gotham City transforms the televised "trial of the century" into a media extravaganza when his future partner in crime, the psychotic Harleen Quinzel (Lady Gaga), becomes an accomplice. In order to gain a sense of what's going to follow watch the trailer down below:

Harry Lawtey, who has acted in both Industry and The Pale Blue Eye, is portraying Todd Phillips' version of Harvey Dent.

When it comes to the release date of Joker: Folie À Deux, the worldwide premiere of the feature is set for October 4, 2024. This is precisely five years after the original film was released, which, incidentally, became the first R-rated film in cinematic history to earn over one billion dollars.

But if recent box office projections are any indication, Shawn Levy's Deadpool & Wolverine might become the second picture to do that very soon. The latest estimates put the Marvel Cinematic Universe film's opening weekend earnings at over $350 million. To read the complete article about it, click here.
