Fans can now see what Netflix has in store for families this year with the release of the teaser trailer for Spellbound.

Movie director Vicky Jenson reportedly takes viewers on a journey to the made-up country of Lumbria, according to an article on Comicbook.com. Ellian, portrayed by Rachel Zegler, is the daughter of the king and queen of this realm. (Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman play the roles of the king and queen.) When a spell fails, Ellian's parents become monsters. Before anything bad happens to their house, she sets out on a mission to undo the changes. Everything is intriguing, and Jenson's presence only adds to it. Composer Alan Menken, who contributed to the creation of some of the most exquisite songs from the Disney Renaissance, adds to the enjoyment.

According to Comicbook.com, there are other well-known voices contributing to the project as well, such as John Lithgow, Jenifer, Lewis, Nathan Lane, and Tituss Burgess.

This same article also states that Tangled's Glenn Slater is assisting with the songwriting for the animated feature. Skydance, who wanted to create a stir with a very conventional fairytale for a long time, is responsible for Spellbound.
