With Peacock's The Killer, John Woo is bringing back his old catalogue.
Playing the role of Chow Yun-Fat's hitman, Nathalie Emmanuel reprises her role from his 1989 classic. Viewers will be able to follow the story of a hitman whose mission goes horribly wrong as they tune in next month. Emmanuel appears to have stumbled upon a problem with her most recent assignment when she accidentally blinds a little girl. We set out after Omar Sy's former investigator gives chase. (Danny Lee previously played the antagonist to the protagonist played by Chow Yun-Fat.)

What Is The Killer About?
The forthcoming film is described by Peacock in the following way: Emmy nominee Nathalie Emmanuel (The Fast Saga, Game of Thrones) stars as Zee, a mysterious and infamous assassin known and feared in the Parisian underworld as the Queen of the Dead. The film is produced by the Oscar® winning Oppenheimer and is a kinetic action thriller. In a Paris nightclub, Zee is ordered to kill a blinded woman by her shadowy mentor and handler (Sam Worthington of Avatar). However, Zee's decision to not do so causes her alliances to fall apart, draws the attention of a clever police investigator (Omar Sy, Lupin, Jurassic World), and drags her into a dark criminal conspiracy, ultimately leading her to confront her own past.
