Hollywood pays their respects to the legendary Bob Newhart after the passing of the legendary accountant-turned-deadpan comedian. In the hours since the news of his passing made it to the internet, stars who had the opportunity to work alongside him in one project or another took to social media to reminisce the time they spent with the comedy legend. Even some of the members of the cast list of The Big Bang Theory, the hit comedy show in which he played the recurring part of Arthur Jeffries/Professor Proton, also took to social media to pay their respects.
Take a look at some of those posts below:
Legendary comedian Bob Newhart left for his heavenly abode on 18th July 94, as per his Publicist as quoted by the officials at AP News in an article. He lived a full life up until the age of 94 and made millions of people laugh around the world over the course of the five decades that us earthlings were lucky to witness his genius through one medium or another. 90's kids and Gen Z will recognise him as the actor who played the recurring part of Arthur Jefferies/Professor Proton in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Today, we celebrate the life of a great comedian, entertainer and a legend.
Safe passage, Mr. Newhart. Thank you for all the precious moments. You will be missed.
