Brace yourselves for a spinoff/prequel series that takes us back to the groovy 1950s.

The Boys TV Universe just keeps getting bigger and better! Amazon Prime Video has just dropped a bombshell at San Diego Comic Con 2024: The Boys: Vought Rising is coming! And guess who's stealing the show? None other than Jensen Ackles, reprising his role as Soldier Boy from The Boys Season 3. But that's not all! Aya Cash, the brilliant actress who brought Stormfront to life in The Boys Season 2, will also be gracing our screens. Get ready for some serious superhero action!

The official synopsis of the show reads as follows:

Aya Cash's portrayal of Stormfront in The Boys Season 2 was nothing short of sensational, capturing the attention of viewers everywhere. Her performance as the villain was truly remarkable. The storyline took an unexpected twist when Stormfront, disguised as a left-wing liberal and social activist, joined Vought's superhero team The Seven.

Little did everyone know, she was actually "Klara Risinger," the wife of Frederick Vought, the founder of Vought and a member of the Nazi party. To make matters even more intriguing, she turned out to be Frederick's first successful creation of a superpowered being using Compound V. After WWII, Frederick found himself transported to America, while Klara cleverly reinvented herself as the patriotic hero "Liberty" during the 1950s.

In that era, she crossed paths with Soldier Boy, resulting in the creation of the notorious supe orgy known as "Herogasm," and a brief romantic entanglement between the two. Stormfront's journey takes an intriguing turn in the 1970s, as her history becomes shrouded in mystery. However, she resurfaces in a rather unexpected manner in 2020, reclaiming her identity as "Stormfront."

Meanwhile, Soldier Boy (also known as "Benjamin") emerged as a warped iteration of Captain America, courtesy of Frederick Vought during WWII. He became the first widely recognised supe and was hailed as America's most formidable soldier. Following the war, Soldier Boy became a prominent figure in American society, gaining celebrity status. However, beneath his charismatic facade, he remained a ruthless and uncompromising individual, very much like his son, Homelander in The Boys series.

He aligned himself with America's conservative Hawks and carried out covert operations both at home and abroad for many years. Eventually, in the 1970s, he formed the superhero team known as Payback.

Including Soldier Boy and Stormfront in a show set in the enigmatic 1950s era of The Boys' timeline seems like a surefire recipe for success. Both characters were beloved antagonists of their respective seasons, and their unexpected pairing was simply delightful.

We simply can't wait to see what the makers of "Vought Rising" has in store for us.
