Sharvari Wagh has entered the thrilling realm of Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe. Paired up with Alia Bhatt in the highly anticipated film, Alpha, Wagh is putting in the work to transform her physique with the help of fitness guru Robin Behl.

The brief for Wagh's character was crystal clear: exuding strength, oozing sexiness, and brimming with capability. Nevertheless, Behl wasted no time in debunking the misconception that strength is synonymous with masculinity.

During an interview with Mid-day, he explained the need to elevate Sharvari's fitness to a whole new level, despite her already being in great shape. “The challenge was to build strength without compromising her femininity or the fluidity of her movements.”, said Behl.

The training regimen was a clever concoction of strength, endurance, and agility.

"We focused on building a strong core, powerful legs, and upper body strength," said Behl. "But it wasn't just about lifting weights. We incorporated a lot of bodyweight exercises, handstands, and mobility drills to ensure her movements were graceful and dynamic."

Incorporating boxing into her routine brought a new level of dynamism and grace to her physique and movement.

Behl had a goal of cultivating in Wagh the mentality of a true athlete. In order to accomplish this, he decided to introduce her to the captivating world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where she would learn from none other than Carl Varel, a highly esteemed and knowledgeable practitioner of the sport in Asia.

“I wanted Sharvari to experience the grappling, clinching, and take-downs firsthand,” Behl explained. “This would help her understand how athletes move and react, which is crucial for action sequences.”

The training was intense, but Wagh's determination remained solid.

Behl spoke with admiration about her tireless dedication as a student. “I often found myself struggling to keep up with her energy levels. She was always eager to push her limits and try new things.”

Wagh's impressive physique is a clear testament to the results of this rigorous training. In a mere five months, she managed to shed an impressive nine-percent of body fat, all the while gaining muscle mass and achieving a sculpted physique.

Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail, who previously directed The Railway Men. Meanwhile, Wagh is also getting ready for the release of her other film, Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani. The film is set to go head-to-head with Khel Khel Mein and Stree 2 on August 15.

The film announced very recently through a post that you can find below:
