James Gunn unveiled a gleaming new Superman emblem, similar to Clark Kent pulling away his button-down shirt to expose the Man of Steel's insignia. On Thursday, the co-chair of DC Studios and director of the impending reboot, which was previously known as Superman: Legacy, posted a one-sheet on social media. The film will be the first in the new DC Universe and will premiere in theatres on July 11, 2025, one year from today.

Gunn captioned the new poster for Superman with the hashtag "In exactly one year #Superman opens all over the world" on Instagram. Below you'll see the same:

The first DC film directed by Gunn since The Suicide Squad in 2021 "tells the story of Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas," according to the description. "He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned."
