The Penguin Is All Set To Take Over San Diego Comic-Con 2024

The streets will know his name. DC is all set to take over San Diego Comic-Con 2024 before Colin Farrell's Oz Cobb takes over Gotham City's underground in The Penguin. Matt Reeves' HBO-branded series that will continue the story of Gotham. As one would remember, matt Reeves' version of the iconic city was left in dire straits at the end of the Robert Pattinson-starrer The Batman.

Streamer Max said today that the eight-episode DC drama will bring a  a star-studded cast panel, immersive fan experiences and even a new teaser to the San Diego Comic Con, which will start on the 25th of July and end on the 28th. This piece of information was revealed by the streamer through a tweet that you can find below:

Renowned entertainment daily ComicBook.com quoted Pia Barlow, who is the Executive Vice President of the Originals Marketing division at HBO and Max sharing a few details regarding the upcoming experiential event. Her quotes can be found below:

"We are incredibly excited to tap into the rich and passionate fanbase in San Diego this year by introducing them to our new series, The Penguin," said Pia Barlow, Executive Vice President, Originals Marketing, HBO and Max. "With our in-world activations, fans will have the chance to engross themselves in the underground world of Oz Cobbs's Gotham, picking up where we left off in Matt Reeves' The Batman, as we look to generate excitement for the series premiering this September."

MTV host Josh Horowitz will moderate a revealing Hall H panel with cast members and in-person panellists Cristin Milioti (Sofia Falcone), Rhenzy Feliz (Victor Aguilar), Matt Reeves (executive producer), Lauren LeFranc (showrunner and executive producer), and Dylan Clark (executive producer). Colin Farrell, who plays the titular character, will virtually join them.
