Thunderbolts*: Wyatt Russel Seemingly Confirms That Sebastian Stan Will Play A Government Official In The Film At SDCC 2024

Thunderbolts* star Wyatt Russel has seemingly revealed the official job title of Sebastian Stan's character, Bucky Barnes, in the film. Comicbook.com, the renowned entertainment daily who caught up with the two actors at this year's San Diego Comic Con, engaged in a QnA session with the actors where they asked asked questions regarding the film on the basis of the new footage.

In one scene, Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barns was reportedly seen washing his vibranium arm in a dishwasher, which we assume may have added a bit of a hilarity to an otherwise fairly intense presentation.

When the daily brought that scene up during a conversation with them, the A Different Man actor jokes that its an "efficient" way of going about things.

To this, Stan jokingly added that "One has to at some point make sure that things do get clean, and so that's a very efficient way of doing it fast."

To this, Wyatt Russel added that "He uses a lot less water too, a lot less water in the dishwasher."

But then, Russel ended up saying something that we found noteworthy. After Stan's comments, Russel said that "He's a congressmen". Take a look at the video down below to see that part of the conversation for yourself:

Adding more fuel to the fire, in another video from the same conversation, Sebastian Stan can be seen jokingly quipping "I'm just in congress". This quip was followed by David Harbour's remark "Which is the worst one!"

Now, we bet your antennas are going crazy too after reading that, aren't they?

The above videos seemingly confirm that Stan's character will be seen taking on an official position in the US government, which makes the film all the more interesting.

MCU fanatics have been waiting with bated breaths for the release of Thunderbolts*, a film that is supposedly going to feature a team that draws inspiration from the Avengers as well as DC's suicide squad, as the team only comprises of anti-heros and full-blown villains.
