Transformers One will open in theatres this autumn, and the film has revealed its rating! Transformers will release a fully CG animated feature film after years of reinventing itself. This new movie will be set before the Autobots and Decepticons went to war on Cybertron and features younger versions of the main characters before they became Optimus Prime and Megatron. Thankfully, it's coming soon to theatres.

Transformers One will open in theatres in September, and its official rating has dropped. The PG rating is for "sci-fi violence and animated action throughout, and language." This makes it family-friendly, and what we've seen of the new movie suggests that. It won't be long before the film hits theatres now, and judging by the positive early reactions that the film has received, the movie may do very well at the box office.

Transformers 1 Release Date

Transformers One opens September 20th, directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) and written by Andrew Barrer (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Gabriel Ferrari (No Exit), and Steve Desmond (Knock at the Cabin) for Paramount Animation and animated by Industrial Light & Magic. Chris Hemsworth plays Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry plays Megatron, Scarlett Johansson plays Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key plays Bumblebee, Jon Hamm plays Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne plays Autobot Alpha Trion, and Steve Buscemi plays Starscream.

TRANSFORMERS ONE stars Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm in the first fully CG-animated Transformers film."
