"Twisters" Star Glen Powell To Go Back To School To Make His Parents Proud!

Twisters star Glen Powell is thriving in Hollywood, but he's also now going to be focusing on books and other non-film projects.

The A-list actor was interviewed by TMZ outside NYC's ABC Studio Thursday about his plans to study Radio, Television, and Film at the University of Texas at Austin.

Glen tells TMZ that he's doing this to finish what he started -- sounds like he paused school to pursue a career in front of the camera -- but he has other people to please.

GP wants to make his parents proud, so he's returning to education. The good news is that he'll only be there for a semester and will take classes remotely. No one will be getting the chance to mob him on campus, it seems.

Glen has said he'll attend classes and film "The Running Man." So, he'll be a busy bee, to say the least.
