Rejoice Watchdog fanatics, for the cameras have finally begun rolling to shoot the long awaited Watchdogs live action movie. This film has been in a bit of a sticky situation for as long as fans could remember, but now, we can finally see the light at the end of the dark tunnel that was the production & development conundrum this film was in.
Announcing the same, Ubisoft posted an image of the movie's clapboard on social media yesterday. Mathieu Turi is set to direct with Daniele Massaccesi in the cinematographer's chair. You can find the post below, which comes with a very Watchdogs-themed caption.
The action-adventure game was released in 2014, followed by two more in 2016 and 2020, as well as tie-in books and an engaging comic book miniseries. As far as the film is concerned, the title role will be played by The Hunger Games veteran Tom Blyth and and will have a co-lead in Talk To Me's Sophie Wilde.
